Perry Ellis International has signed two new license agreements with Parigi Group to develop children’s apparel for its Perry Ellis and Original Penguin brands.

Parigi is planning lines of boys’ and girls’ casual sportswear, activewear and swimwear for sizes newborn to 20 in the U.S. and Canada.

The company will continue to partner with LF U.S.A. for Perry Ellis’ portfolio of boys’ dress wear.

The Original Penguin kids’ collection will launch in better department stores in spring 2015, with the Perry Ellis line following in the back-to-school 2015 season.

"We are excited to work with Parigi Group and to extend the reach of our global portfolio of lifestyle brands," says George Feldenkreis, chairman and chief executive officer, PEI. "The addition of children's apparel reflects our diversification strategy, which enables Perry Ellis International to leverage its brand lifestyles across categories and channels to drive further growth and profitability."
