Perry Ellis International is expanding its representation of the Callaway Golf brand into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Perry Ellis International, the apparel licensee for Callaway Golf, is expanding its representation of the golf brand into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Apparel distribution in the region is currently operated directly by Callaway Golf. Moving forward, PEI will take over the design, manufacture and sales business beginning January 1, 2014.

PEI has established a dedicated team to operate the Callaway Golf apparel business in the expanded territories, and will integrate the brand into its existing European organization and commercial infrastructure.

The European fall 2013 men's and women's Callaway lines are currently available at retail at leading golf specialty stores and resorts in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Turkey and the Middle East. The addition of South Africa, as well as a full European rollout, is expected by spring 2014.

Throughout 2014, PEI plans to make investments in staff and upgrade the product design of Callaway Golf apparel to reflect the expanded region's consumer palate.
