The new agreement will bring a collection of women’s and gender neutral apparel, accessories, leather goods, jewelry and footwear to Marc Jacobs stores around the world, starting with Asia in June.

“Collaborating with a brilliantly outspoken and well-known designer like Marc Jacobs offers Peanuts fans a fresh and fashion-forward take on their favorite characters, yet at the same time maintains that warm nostalgic feel that is inherent to what Charles Schulz created,” says Liz Brinkley, vice president, fashion collaborations and softlines, Peanuts Worldwide. “Teaming up with high-profile designers and brands is key to our overall apparel strategy, as it keeps Peanuts top-of-mind with both trendsetters and their followers.”

Since receiving a giant stuffed Snoopy from his babysitter when he was six years old, Charles M. Schulz’s “Peanuts” comic strip has been a favorite of Jacobs. Now, incorporated on everything from vintage-style sweatshirts to canvas totes and colorful jewelry, the Peanuts characters add whimsical flair to the classic Marc Jacob styles in the upcoming collection.
