Panini and Bioworld have signed a licensing agreement for the development of Panini-branded apparel and accessories.

The deal will see Bioworld develop various ranges of apparel and accessories to initially hit the U.K. and Ireland stores in spring 2020, with more regions planned for the future. Panini’s collection will focus on multiple international football collectibles and new items anticipated for the trading card company’s 60th anniversary in 2021.

“We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Panini to be able to produce a range of products for football fans of all ages across Europe,” says Richard Radford, head, licensing, Bioworld International. “With the continued popularity of the beautiful game, coupled with heritage and collectability of such a brand like Panini, it’s the perfect fit, and I’m looking forward to seeing the complete ranges on shelves soon.”

Earlier this year, the Premier League renewed its licensing deal with Panini through the 2019/2020 season.
