Old Navy has announced it is launching its first-ever tween apparel collection in partnership with POPSUGAR.

The limited-edition collection, PS x ON, includes gender-inclusive essentials for tweens ages 10-13. Old Navy and POPSUGAR designed the collection alongside a team of tween ambassadors who provided unique insights and style inspiration that are reflected throughout the line. The advisors include young designer Kheris Rogers, level eight gymnast Alizé Lee and musician and athlete Jensen Gereng.
“As a family brand, we’re constantly challenging ourselves to innovate the business to best serve all ages, sizes and personalities,” says Andres Dorronsoro, senior vice president and general merchandising manager, Old Navy. “We saw an opportunity in the tween market and were immediately inspired by this next generation that is inclusive, culturally-conscious and not afraid to stand up for what they believe in. We were thrilled to create the PS x ON collection alongside members from this age group, with positive graphics, bright colors and interchangeable styling pieces, as they continue to adapt to this ‘new normal’ and gear up for the new school year.”

The 25-piece PS x ON collection includes athleisure staples and basic denim essentials. The line’s hoodie and jogger fleece hook-ups are created in a range of colors and designed to be worn across all shapes, sizes and genders. The collection’s graphic tees include phrases such as “Radiate Good Vibes,” “We’re Gonna Be Alright,” “I am the Future,” and “Make the World a Better Place” inspired by this age group’s passion for social impact.

“Today’s tweens are entering a rapidly evolving world and they’re taking matters into their own hands to affect change,” says Lisa Sugar, founder and president, POPSUGAR. “POPSUGAR empowers younger generations through a lens of positivity and optimism. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Old Navy to create a collection inspired for tweens that has an assortment of inclusive styles that will help them feel comfort during a year of change.”

Old Navy and POPSUGAR have also committed to a series of philanthropic initiatives aimed at providing funding for Boys & Girls Clubs. A $25,000 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs in honor of the PS x ON collection will be given, along with the launch of a social sweepstakes in which Old Navy will donate $5 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America for every social post with #GoodVibesSweepstakes, up to $25,000. One winner will receive a $2,000 prize. Fans can visit the POPSUGAR website  through Aug. 7th to enter.

In addition, Old Navy is launching an in-store fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $1 million to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs running from July 27 through August 6. Customers who donate $5 or more in Old Navy stores will receive $5 off their purchase of $35 or more. They are also launching a national art project engaging Boys & Girls Clubs of America and an evergreen donation functionality for online customers, who can choose to donate during checkout at OldNavy.com to support Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Tweens can shop the gender-inclusive collection, priced between US $9.99 - $39.99 now at  OldNavy stores in the U.S. and Canada beginning in August 2020.
For POPSUGAR, the company previously walked into the fashion world with a 2018 partnership with Kohl’s.
