The range of NBA boys’ t-shirts will be created by Zara and available for shoppers in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The designs, which are for boys ages 3 to 12, will feature NBA teams including the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat. The line will be sold in Zara stores and online.
“Zara is a global leader in the fashion industry and through this partnership, we will have the ability to offer great new products to our growing international fan base,” said Salvatore Larocca, NBA executive vice president, Global Merchandising Group. “This new collection offers a stylish and casual way for our young fans around the world to show their passion for the NBA.”
The deal is a first for the retailer and a North American-based sports league.
