The National Basketball Association, Sean John and Macy’s have teamed up in a multi-year agreement that will feature themed events at Macy’s stores across the U.S.

“With this partnership, Sean John and the NBA are fusing the worlds of style and sports to create ‘fashiontainment,’” says Jeff Tweedy, president, Sean John. “Together with Macy's, our exclusive retail partner, we're excited to launch a series of events and activities that will allow us to showcase the Sean John brand.”

Under the new partnership, Sean John and Macy’s will host a series of live NBA-themed experiences at Macy’s stores where fans will have the opportunity to meet NBA players as Sean John presents the latest trends in his lifestyle brand.

The new deal will also feature the “Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy’s” musical performances during the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night and at halftime at the 2013 NBA All-Star Game.

“Sean John has been a long-time partner of Macy’s, and we’re thrilled to combine efforts in support of the NBA, one of America’s greatest sports organizations,” says Fred Marione, vice president, men's merchandise marketing, Macy's. “This dynamic program includes engaging live events at Macy’s stores, allowing us a new opportunity to share the fashion and entertainment expertise of our brands with basketball fans nationwide.”
