Through the deal, Versa group will design and distribute Nautica branded men’s dress shirts across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

Authentic Brands Group has announced a production and distribution partnership with men’s dress shirt purveyor, Versa Group for the Nautica brand.

Through the long-term agreement, Versa Group will design, produce and distribute Nautica branded men’s dress shirts to a range of department stores, specialty retailers and e-Commerce accounts across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

“We are pleased to breathe fresh air to Nautica sales with a new dress shirt partner, Versa,” says Jarrod Weber, group president, lifestyle, Authentic Brands Group. “Nautica dress shirts are a perfect extension for the consumer who dresses up and yet appreciates the Nautica lifestyle.”

Versa Group will introduce new performance features and updated materials to the line. Elements including the use of sustainable materials, 4-way stretch fabrics and the introduction of a slim fit cut are among the newest updates designed to serve the brand’s new and existing customers.

“Our organization is looking forward to this partnership with Nautica, a brand whose presence is recognized by retailers and consumers across the world,” says Marc Seruya, chief executive officer, Versa. “We are confident that our expertise will provide added value to the loyal Nautica customer as well as attract new fans to the brand.”

The new assortment of Nautica men’s dress shirts, developed by Versa Group, will launch at select retailers and on nautica.com this spring.
