U.K. retailer Mothercare has partnered with fashion designer Julien Macdonald to develop range of newborn and baby apparel, in a deal brokered by Select Licensing.

Macdonald’s debut collection, dubbed Smile­­, includes ready-to-wear jersey casuals such as bodysuits, baby grows, dresses, leggings and accessories.

Macdonald will also create a limited edition occasionwear line featuring items such as a faux leather trim blazer, t-shirt and pants set for boys and dresses for girls.

The Smile collection will launch in 70 Mothercare stores across the U.K., Ireland and internationally this fall/winter.
