Depressed Monsters has appointed Collaborations Licensing as its global licensing agency, and has secured a deal with Hot Topic for apparel and accessories.

Hot Topic will be launching the products in select stores and online at HotTopic.com starting this month.

Depressed Monsters will be donating a percentage of all sales to the Hot Topic Foundation to support its ongoing efforts with Mental Health America. Additional Depressed Monsters styles will be available in May in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month.

“I grew up with Hot Topic; the wonderful feeling of discovering new bands and brands under one roof is just a quintessential part of growing up, and the fact that Yerman is now going to be under that roof, it just really means a lot to me,” says Ryan Brunty, founder, Depressed Monsters. “This partnership is a dream come true, not only because we are both so influenced by individuality and music, but also because we will be able to work together to raise money and awareness to relieve the stigma surrounding mental health.”

The brand in comprised of street art, public speaking engagements and a clothing line. In addition to Hot Topic, the brand can be found at Zappos, Amazon and 6pm.com.
