Her Universe will launch superhero-inspired athletic apparel.

Disney Consumer Products and Marvel Entertainment have partnered with Her Universe, a fangirl fashion company, for a range of superhero-themed women’s activewear.

Her Universe’s capsule collection will include tank tops, sports bras, leggings and more and will feature Marvel superheroes such as Black Widow, Iron Man and Captain America. The range will be targeted toward teens and millennial women and will be tagged “Be A Hero.”

“Activewear is a huge trend with young women and a natural fit for the Marvel brand,” says Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel, DCP. “We’re excited about the potential of this new collection to connect with female fans and continue to drive our fashion business.”

Additionally, the line is a part of Marvel’s major expansion into women’s fashion, which includes the launch of @StyledByMarvel on Instagram.

“Collaborating with Marvel on activewear is a dream come true, says Ashley Eckstein, founder, Her Universe. “These Marvel characters inspire me to try and ‘Be A Hero’ in my everyday life, and being active is an important part! We’re incredibly proud of this collection and hope that girls will be inspired to wear these designs from the gym to the street.”

The Marvel-inspired activewear collection will launch this month exclusively at Kohl’s and on Kohls.com.
