Color experts Pantone will showcase their new menswear collection this week at MAGIC featuring a range of men’s basics in Pantone's immense range of standardized colors.

The collection was launched last week during New York Fashion Week in a popup shop in New York City's Meatpacking District.

The line, which joins the brand’s previously released collection of swimwear, includes tees, tanks, pants, shorts, sweaters, hoodies, jackets and accessories.

Pantone Colorwear is made in Europe and executed in the U.S. by the brand-building collective Empire & Branch.

"Having been such a defining guide and inspiration in color for decades, this exciting new apparel line makes so much sense for Pantone to extend their color leadership into the fashion industry," says Deepak Gayadin, co-founder and principal, Empire & Branch. "We're very excited to be launching Pantone Colorwear here in North America."

The Fall Color Report

In other hue news, Pantone has released its Fashion Color Report Fall 2014, an overview of the colors designers are using in their upcoming collections.

"This is a season of untypical colors, more reflective of the imagination and ingenuity, which makes for an artful collection of colors and combinations not bound by the usual hues for fall," says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director, the Pantone Color Institute. "There is a certain mystique that is reflected throughout the palette, inspired by the increasing need for people everywhere to create an individual imprint."
