Mad Engine Buys Sourcing Firm Xtreme

Apparel wholesaler Mad Engine has acquired the Toronto, Canada-based sourcing company Xtreme Worldwide, which supplies licensed apparel to department stores and mass merchants across Canada.

Xtreme and Mad Engine have been working together since 2008, specifically on the Marvel, Disney and Lucasfilm properties.

By leveraging Mad Engine’s global network product development resources, Xtreme hopes to increase its capabilities for its retail partners. Xtreme is now actively seeking new license opportunities and looking to expand product categories.

Jarrod Saltzman will continue on as President of Xtreme, which will remain a stand alone entity.
