Northern European fashion retailer Lindex is planning a new line Moomin apparel collection this year in honor of what would have been brand creator Tove Jansson’s 100th birthday.

The brand is represented for licensing worldwide by Bulls Licensing.

Lindex has used Moomin motifs in its designs before and the upcoming collection will feature a range of new prints, including the joint jubilee pattern that has been specifically designed for the 100-year anniversary. The line will include products for babies through adults, with 10 percent of sales going to Unicef to promote children’s writing and learning around the world.

“By having exciting collaborations with other organizations or designers Lindex can be part of creating better conditions for people around us. It feels of course extra good that it is the children who are in focus because children are a big part of our everyday life, both privately and at work, ” says Ingvar Larsson, director, design and purchasing, Lindex.
