Italian lifestyle brand Police has partnered with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Formula 1 team to bring Lewis Hamilton’s style to a new eyewear collection.

The collaboration sees Police supply the entire race team with a new line of eyewear, placing the brand’s logo on the helmets of Mercedes F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.

“We are extremely proud of this prestigious collaboration between Police, our house brand which we value particularly, and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport, the historic Formula 1 team,” says Massimo De Rigo, executive vice president, De Rigo Group. “Our determination to work with Lewis as both a brand ambassador and designer presented a unique opportunity to join Police to the sports world once again, and we are proud to be partnering with the strongest team in one of the most popular sports in the world."

While the Police x Hamilton glasses have yet to be revealed, pairs are currently due for global debut at the British Grand Prix in July.

Previous fashion collaborations for Formula 1 include a deal last year with Tommy Hilfiger.
