June 16, 2022
Warren James, a merchandising firm specializing in product, brand, website and activation development for creators and properties, has announced an expanded partnership with KREW, a creator group. Alongside Warren James, KREW developed KREW District, a lifestyle brand, in 2020. Their latest collaboration will add to the existing line more plush toys, apparel and accessories for fans. KREW will also take an equity stake in Warren James.
“As creators, KREW has fostered one of the world’s most highly engaged fan bases,” says Kevin Ramsey, co-founder, chief executive officer, Warren James. “Leaning into our passion, expertise and the expansive opportunities available to content creators within the licensing industry, our collaboration offers dedicated fans the opportunity to immerse themselves in KREW’s interactive world through thoughtfully crafted premium products.”
Warren James produces apparel to molded plastics, leather goods, jewelry, plush, electronics and more to align with partners' stylistic ethos. The latest collection with KREW emphasizes the company’s value in collaboration and the curation of branded plush toys, apparel and accessories with the Teddy District, KREW Sweets, Color Block Me, Give Me Space, One of Us and Holiday collections. The original 2020 offerings featured 20 different categories of products, including the KREW District Joggers and the KREW Teddies Allover Pattern Slides.
“Following the success of our 2020 collection, the expansion of our line with Warren James was a no-brainer,” says KREW. “We’ve always been a hands-on group and the behind-the-scenes collaboration with Warren James has given us the space to expand our creativity and connect directly with our fans.”
