The shoe was designed to tell the story of the Coolhaus brand. On the heel of new K-Swiss sneaker are the words “200 Miles,” written in pink lettering. The embellishment is a reference to Natasha Case, Coolhaus founder, and the 200-mile hike she endured after her ice cream truck broke down while driving to Coachella for a promotion. Case believes the story is a symbol of the perseverance that helped launch Coolhaus to become the company it is today and was excited to include it as part of the design.
“It was a very, very strong partnership from the get-go,” says Case, speaking to
. “I felt like they really wanted to hear my thoughts and understand the story and embed themselves in the brand as much as possible.”
