Fashion designer Issa London, best known for Kate Middleton’s blue engagement dress, is planning a limited edition capsule collection for Banana Republic.

The Banana Republic Issa London Collection is the designer’s first retail collaboration. Drawing on Banana Republic's safari roots, the line will be available at stores worldwide and online Aug. 6.

The nearly 40-piece collection will include apparel and accessories including dresses, sweaters, clutches and jewelry.

"We were immediately inspired by Banana Republic's heritage of safari adventures when we dreamt up this collection together," says Simon Kneen, creative director and executive vice president of design, Banana Republic. "Issa London's effortlessly chic style complements our global Banana Republic consumer who is on the go and needs to transition her look seamlessly from day to night."
