Guess Originals has announced its latest capsule for fall 2022, Guess Originals x Betty Boop. Guess Originals worked together with Fleischer Studios and Global Icons to bring the new collaboration to life. It will be available beginning Oct. 6 in select Guess retail stores, at the new Guess Originals store in LA, and on guessoriginals.com.  

The Guess Originals x Betty Boop capsule was inspired by the similar aesthetic of Betty Boop and the classic Guess girl. 

“These are two iconic, beloved brands that fit perfectly together for a collaboration,” says Mark Fleischer, chairman and chief executive officer, Fleischer Studios, owners of the Betty Boop character. “Guess and Betty Boop share long histories of celebrating vibrant, confident women, and we are delighted to see them continue that celebration together.” 

The pieces were carefully designed to capture the essence of the two brands, highlighting the similarities between both. Made predominantly of women's styles, the capsule includes a ‘50s inspired bowling bag, velour sweatsuits and a black straight leg denim with embroidery of Betty Boop on the back pocket. The standout piece of the collection is a unisex faux-leather bomber jacket, adorned with graphics of Betty Boop and lined with a bright red acetate material.
