Carolann Dunn to take on expanded duties following success of Peanuts program.

Iconix Brand Group has promoted Carolann Dunn to the newly created role of vice president, sales, for Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Brand Group’s entertainment division.

In her new role, Dunn will oversee licensing sales operations and execute revenue-generating strategies in the U.S across multiple categories including toys and games, apparel and accessories, health and beauty, gift and collectibles, home décor, stationery and food.

In less than two years, Dunn has expanded the roster of Peanuts licensees and was instrumental in establishing Peanuts' presence at major retailers by leveraging The Peanuts Movie from Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios, which premiered Nov. 6.

Before joining Peanuts, Dunn ran her own licensing agency, Creative Properties, where she worked on properties such as Disney’s Club Penguin and Girl Scouts of the USA. Prior to Creative Properties, Dunn was vice president of consumer products licensing at Major League Baseball Properties for 13 years.

“With her product, sales, and marketing knowledge, Carolann will drive our business at this pivotal time, drafting off the huge consumer effect from The Peanuts Movie and the amazing heritage of this brand, while helping us bring Strawberry Shortcake to the forefront of girls, properties,” says Leigh Anne Brodsky, managing director, Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Brand Group’s entertainment division.
