Iconix Europe has signed an exclusive direct-to-retail agreement with Go Sport France to launch a range of classic and modern dancewear apparel under the Danskin brand.

The collection will be available in more than 130 Go Sport stores in four territories beginning in September. The new line includes over 120 SKUs including ballet flats and underwear and has been endorsed by the New York City Ballet. A separate NYCP capsule range is set to launch later this year.

“Go Sport have captured the romantic personality of the Danskin brand, whilst creating a range that is functional and fit for professional dancers. We are delighted with this partnership and have brought exciting marketing to the relationship to support consumer sales,” says Angela Farrugia, managing director, Iconix Europe, which is a joint venture between Iconix Brand Group and The Licensing Company.

“We have built a collection that reflects the heritage and beauty of this brand, with innovative materials, comfort and exclusive styling details at its heart,” says Pascale Ranaux, artistic director, Go Sport. “Our customers will enjoy all aspects of the range, from the studio to everyday life, and we are excited to be working with Iconix Europe in this project.”
