The collection features four styles each with the motto, “feet have no gender.” Happy Socks and the Phluid Project have reported that 10 percent of proceeds from the sale of the socks will go to the Stonewall Community Foundation, which raises funds for LGBTQ initiatives.

“Fifty years ago, the modern Gay Rights Movement began, and today we are beaming with Pride,” says Rob Smith, founder and chief executive officer, The Phluid Project, via statement to Footwear News. “It is a pleasure to have design partners like Happy Socks that understand self-expression and individuality and create for the gender spectrum.”

The Happy Socks collaboration follows other retail launches in celebration of Pride month including a Society6 accessories line inspired by the “L Word” sequel “Generation Q.”
