A collaboration between Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop and Proenza Schouler will release as planned, according to WWD.
The activewear collaboration, according to Goop’s general manager of fashion and home, Shaun Kearney, has a connection to wellness, and “the Goop community [is] looking to stay healthy.
The collaboration’s scheduled release is a way for Goop to “alleviate stresses,” according to Kearney, “creating a sense of normalcy in [the] environment.”
The limited-edition collection is Proenza Schouler’s first activewear effort.
“We’ve been lucky enough to know Gwyneth for some time now and are constantly amazed by the work she is doing at Goop,” Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, founders, Proenza Scholer, shared via statement. “When she called and asked if we would be interested in working together, we said yes. We love everything about Goop and know so many Proenza Schouler customers who live in both brands. In many ways, we consider Gwyneth to be the ultimate Proenza Schouler woman.”
Available now, the line includes sports bras, leggings, jackets, t-shirts, a short sleeve cutout top, a jumpsuit and a bodysuit. Prices range from $125 to $895.
