More than 100 new products will roll out across eight brands.

The Fossil Group will launch new wearable products for eight of its brands in 40 countries, this year.

Chaps, Diesel, Emporio Armani, Fossil, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Misfit and Skagen will launch more than 100 wearable products such as display and non-display watches, trackers, jewelry, leather goods and other accessories.

The Fossil Group will also support the wearables with branded apps, three product categories and on two operating systems, including Google’s Android Wear platform.

The new wearables products will be available in retailers around the world by the end of this year.

“One of the distinct advantages of a fashion company over traditional consumer electronics manufactures is our product cycle. We demonstrate remarkable speed to market, from development to launch, in order to meet the retail industry’s seasonal new product deadlines,” says Greg McKelvey, chief strategy and digital officer, Fossil Group. “The industry has been slow to adapt to growing consumer desires

for new styles and options for wearables. With the diversity of major fashion brands we offer, customers will be delighted with the sheer volume of styles and options available when shopping for a wearable that fits their personal style.”
