Two well-known Detroit brands partner for apparel deal.

Chevrolet and Carhartt have announced a strategic partnership that will see Carhartt become the Official Workwear of Chevy Trucks and Chevy Trucks become the Official Partner of Carhartt.

The two Detroit, Mich. companies will work together to identify organic placement and integrations in the coming year. Both brands are already working on collaborations including having the staff of the Chevy Truck Tour wear Carhartt apparel when they stage more than 50 events across the country this summer.

"When you look at both of our brands and our customers, there's a natural connection between Chevrolet and Carhartt," says Hugh Milne, marketing manager, Chevrolet Truck. "Both have more than 100 years of history rooted in Detroit. And today, both brands have built a reputation for delivering quality, durable products."

Last year, Carhartt partnered with Marvel for a limited-edition collection for Luke Cage.
