Social shopping platform Depop has opened its second physical retail space in New York City.

Following the launch of its first shop in Los Angele earlier this year, the brand has brought its community-focused concept to New York. The new space will host events, exhibition, an on-site photo studio and serve as a meeting space for young creatives.

“New York City is the U.S. capital of fashion, people from all over looking for inspiration” says Maria Raga, chief executive officer, Depop. “It is also a vital market for us; we’ve grown sales in New York by 500 percent over the last two years. We’re excited to continue this journey by opening a space where everyone can experience the very best of Depop and its incredible creative community."

To fete the occasion, Depop hosted a private viewing on Aug. 23, the night before its open, which included designer Sandy Liang and more.

The Depop Space is located at 168 Mott Street in New York City.
