Artist Daniel Arsham and Uniqlo have announced a partnership to create a line of ‘Pokémon’-inspired apparel.

The new line includes imagines from classic Pokémon characters a thousand years in the future as crystallized statues. Arsham’s images are aimed at creating an interpretation of “Pokémon.”

“With many of my projects, I try to make work that’s not just for art people and I think Uniqlo has a similar egalitarian culture,” says Arsham in a quote in Hypebeast. “The reason I feature iconic characters in my work is that they are very recognizable, and, on the surface, they make it easy to enter my work. ‘Pokémon’ has been a monumental presence ever since I was a child and I’m excited about the opportunity to present my work to a much wider audience.”

The Uniqlo collection comes in a full range of adult and kid sizing. Items in the line are priced from $9.90 to $14.90.

Uniqlo’s latest line comes following other recent apparel deals with properties including Minnie Mouse.
