Concept One Accessories has agreed to acquire handbag and accessory brand Danielle Nicole from Artisan House for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the agreement, the Danielle Nicole brand will operate as a separate division of Concept One with company founder Danielle DiFerinando staying on to oversee all aspects of the business.

“We saw Danielle Nicole as a terrific brand doing exciting things that also happened to be one of the industry’s best kept secrets,” says Sam Hafif, chief executive officer, Concept One. “This acquisition was the perfect opportunity to pair the brand with our production and business expertise to gain market share for both Concept One and Danielle Nicole.”

Concept One’s deal with Danielle Nicole continues its push into the luggage and bag vertical. Last year, the company acquired the FUL brand from Sequential Brands Group.
