California Locos Releases Rick Griffin Capsule Collection

has announced a limited collection of Rick Griffin numbered skateboards and accessories. The collection features street, retro and cruiser skateboards, T-shirts and surf ponchos. The skateboards are sold as completes or single decks. The single decks are treated as collectible pieces of art. With only 150 units produced of each style, the boards come with custom artist boxes, wall mount hangers by SK8OLOGY and a certificate of authenticity signed by Dave Tourjé, founder, California Locos, Ida Griffin, Griffin’s wife and Nano Nóbrega, creative director. Artist, Rick Griffin, influenced the parallel worlds of surf and rock, impacting everything from graffiti to graphics to fine art. Griffin is considered an “Original Loco” and a true SoCal archetype.
