The '80s U.S. streetwear brand B.U.M. Equipment has appointed licensing agency Foundry Brands to develop its brand in the U.K. and Europe.

Foundry will initially target fast fashion retailers to capitalize on current trends in '80s and '90s fashion influences and the emergence of sports activewear as a mainstream fashion look.

B.U.M. is also being re-launched in the U.S. for 2016.

“We see a real opportunity to re-introduce the brand back into the European market,” says Stephen Wayne, chairman, B.U.M. Equipment. “With the '80s and '90s having such an influence now, we have seen interest in the B.U.M. brand grow and some influential celebrities starting to be seen in the brand."
