Pop star Billie Eilish has teamed with artist Takashi Murakami for a limited-edition t-shirt collection for Uniqlo. According to WWD, the collection will showcase the combined styles and artistic perspectives of Eilish and Murakami.

Murakami and Eilish have worked together previously, when Murakami directed Eilish’s 2019 music video for “You Should See Me in a Crown.” Murakami is known for multiple forms of art, including traditional Japanese paintings, sculptures and film. The contemporary artist works with both fine arts media and commercial media. His art has been featured on multiple consumer product items.

Eilish, 18, has ventured into the fashion sector multiple times, having previously designed her own merchandise line called “blohsh” as well as having designed a sustainable clothing line with H&M. She also has worked with the likes of Bershka, Freak City and Urban Outfitters on collaborative clothing collections.

Additional details about Eilish and Murakami’s collection with Uniqlo will be revealed next week.
