Retailer debuts licensed athleisure shoe line in U.S.

Bebe Stores has launched a line of athleisure footwear at Macy's, designed in partnership with licensee ZiGi New York.

The line debuted under the Bebe Sport label in Macy's stores across the U.S and will be available online later this month.

“We are thrilled to bring Bebe footwear to Macy’s stores nationwide, as we build upon our wholesale offerings and expand the presence of our brand in new and exciting ways,” says Jim Wiggett, chief executive officer, Bebe Stores. “We see tremendous wholesale opportunities for Bebe in North America and are delighted to be working with the ZiGi team to continue to develop trendy feminine designs that fit the lifestyle of the Bebe woman.”

The collection features Bebe’s Flash and Sport shoes, and debuts with four styles and seven SKUs. In October, Macy’s will expand the collection to include five additional styles (total of nine SKUs). The offering will expand even further in January 2016 with a logo sandal program for spring.
