L.A.-based luxury brand AMIRI has released its pre-collection range which features a collaboration with classic rock band Mötley Crüe.

The deal was brokered by the band’s merchandising partner, Global Merchandising Services. It was inspired by the Sunset Strip in L.A. and its history of excess.
The collection includes a range of t-shirts, hats and sweatshirts that utilizes the band’s fifth studio album, Dr. Feelgood as inspiration. The apparel comes during the 30th anniversary of the album, and its skyrocket to #1 on the Billboard 200.

The first AMIRI collection was an exclusive capsule line launched in 2014 as a collaboration with Maxfield. Less than four years later, the brand has expanded to more than 90 global retailers.

This isn’t the first time AMIRI has partnered with a well-known rock band. In the past, AMIRI provided an iteration of Guns ‘N’ Roses’ musical identity through fashion. Other collaborations have included Renzo Rosso’s OTB holding, which recently took a minority stake in the fashion brand.

Mötley Crüe has expanded their licensed program over the years into multiple categories besides fashion. Mötley Crüe-themed products have included books, jewelry, homeware, Funko Pop! Dolls and holiday collections.
The Mötley Crüe x AMIRI pre-collection range is available on amiri.com as well as through other retailers like revivemi.com.
