Ahoy! Scotch & Soda Debuts Popeye Fashion Capsule

King Features has partnered with Scotch & Soda to launch The Boathouse, a limited-edition nautical-themed fashion capsule collection inspired by Popeye's nemesis Bluto (also known as Brutus).

The capsule will include denim, Hawaiian shirts, overalls, varsity-inspired jackets, sweats and hoodies. It will also feature a variety of accessories including hats, caps, bags, belts, scarves, phones cases and laptop sleeves.

"Scotch & Soda has a proven record in bringing innovative products to market, and when they had the original idea to create a nautical collection around Brutus, we knew it would be a hit with fans," says Carla Silva, vice president and general manager, global head, licensing, King Features. "Their impassioned commitment to developing a unique and authentic vintage look for Brutus was inspiring and is apparent in every design."
