Famed outdoors outfitter has been snatched up by ABG and SPARC.

Authentic Brands Group, a global brand owner, marketing and entertainment company, and SPARC Group, a retail enterprise, are pleased to announce the acquisition of Eddie Bauer.

Through the transaction, Eddie Bauer’s operations will become part of the SPARC organization and the brand’s headquarters will remain in the Seattle area under Damien Huang, chief executive officer. Eddie Bauer.
The Eddie Bauer team, in partnership with SPARC, will manage the brand's sourcing, product design and development, wholesale, planning and allocation and e-commerce as well as its 300 stores, which are principally located in the U.S. and Canada.
