Authentic Brands Group is expanding the Taryn Rose footwear brand into hosiery and has added two new shoe collections to the line.

New licensee Best Legwear Group is planning a line of luxury hosiery, foot liners, shoe inserts and socks for the brand that will debut in select department stores in fall 2015.

“We look forward to working with Best Legwear,” says Nick Woodhouse, president and chief marketing officer, ABG. “This partnership will extend Taryn Rose’s product offerings beyond the footwear department and open the door for new brand extensions in the future.”

Additionally, the brand's current footwear licensee, the Will Rich Shoe Company, is planning two new lines.

The new Waterproof collection will launch this fall, designed to power through the most inclement weather and made from materials such as soft leathers and nubucks that are treated with special chemicals. Six key styles will include quilted boots, tall leather boots with faux fur trim and suede booties.

Waterproof will be followed by a new contemporary line called Blossom by Taryn Rose that will launch in spring 2015. Blossom will cater to an expanded customer base, targeting women in their '20s and '30s.

"The line features all of the comfort elements you’d expect in a Taryn Rose product, but offers styling that’s more contemporary,” says Richard Brandt, co-founder, the Will Rich Shoe Company. “It gives the younger audience comfort features without sacrificing the styling she’s looking for from more contemporary brands.”

The Waterproof collection will be available at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom’s, and Blossom by Taryn Rose will be available at Neiman Marcus among other leading retailers.

The Taryn Rose brand was founded in 1998 by an orthopedic surgeon and aims to combine medical know-how with modern design styling.
