Ripple Junction, High Point, Invicta and Apparel Connection are on board to support the popular feline through fashion and accessories.
Paws Inc. has signed a slate of new licensees to bring its iconic lasagna-loving cat Garfield to a raft of apparel and accessories throughout North America this year.
King Features, the brand’s licensing agent, brokered the deal.
First, Ripple Junction is on board to debut a robust lineup of branded t-shirts, tanks, fleece tops, jackets, socks, hats, pins and buttons for men and women.
Meanwhile, hosiery designer High Point will launch Garfield-inspired socks, shoe liners, tights, leggings and soft-soled slipper socks this March.
Also in March, Invicta will debut a range of watches featuring the popular cat, which will be available in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Additionally, Apparel Connection will release a collection of scrubs and lounge pants for women and juniors this spring.
“Garfield is an iconic brand that resonates with fans of all ages around the world,” says Carla Silva, vice president and general manager, global head, licensing, King Features. “This slate of new deals is just the beginning and we are excited to be working with Paws to bring fans fresh ways to express their love for Garfield.”
