Falcon Footwear is on board to help drive the sports equipment brand’s North American reach.
Head Sport has tapped Falcon Footwear, an affiliate of the Eastman Group, to create Head-branded footwear for the North American market.
The multi-year agreement will include flip flops, sandals, walking shoes, lifestyle/casual shoes, hiking shoes and Halo merchandise for men, women and children.
“Head is an iconic outdoor brand, with particular recognition in ski equipment and tennis,” says Richard Olicker, executive vice president, Falcon Footwear. “As a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of cold/west weather and outdoor footwear products, we’re ideally well-positioned to develop and expand the Head brand into footwear categories that are our expertise. We’re excited to be working with Head Sport to drive the Head footwear business.”
The initial product line is slated to hit retailers this fall.
