“Say Yes to the Dress” community outreach program teams with department store for exclusive shop-in-shops.
Discovery Consumer Products has tapped Macy’s to be the exclusive retail location for the new collection of Say Yes to the Prom products.
The new line will include two dozen prom gowns and a full line of jewelry and will be featured as a shop-in-shop in the retailer’s juniors’ department.
Say Yes to the Prom is a companion community outreach program to TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress.” The initiative offers high school students across the U.S. the opportunity to have the prom of their dreams with educational extensions preparing them for college and careers. The annual initiative involves a day of mentorship, prom dress shopping and tuxedo rental fittings, makeovers from TLC star Monte Durham as well as scholarship and internship opportunities.
The Say Yes to the Prom collection will be available in 200 Macy’s department stores across the U.S. beginning next month.
