King Features Syndicate, unit of Hearst, announced a new collaboration with Franco-Swiss watchmaker Reservoir and LabelNoir featuring the sailor man Popeye, who is showcased on the face of their newest watch.

Only 200 pieces of the Reservoir x LabelNoir x Popeye limited-edition watch are available for purchase through Reservoir and LabelNoir’s e-commerce sites, as well as through a network of 70+ and specialist retailers in more than 20 countries. The deal was negotiated by King Features’ French agent, MJA Licensing.

“This stunning, high-end timepiece by Reservoir and LabelNoir beautifully captures the essence of Popeye,” says Carla Silva, vice president and general manager, global head of licensing, King Features. “Popeye is one of the most recognizable characters in pop culture, and partnerships with quality craftsmen like Reservoir and LabelNoir strengthens his notoriety as a fashion icon.”

Each numbered model is presented in a white wooden box adorned with an image of "The Popeye Family," an additional Chrome Painted Figurine “Popeye eating spinach,” and an embroidery in honor of Popeye. A certificate of authenticity accompanies the box.
