AVI-8 has announced its latest collaboration with the Imperial War Museums (IWM). IWM is a British national museum, headquartered in London that was founded in 1917. It was intended to record the civil and military war effort and sacrifice of the U.K. and its Empire during the First World War. As of 2012, the museum aims to provide for, and to encourage, the study and understanding of the history of modern war and wartime experience.
Partnering with Imperial War Museums, AVI-8 celebrates the museum’s mission to collect the stories and objects that give an insight into people’s experiences of war and preserve them for future generations. As the world’s leading authority on conflict and its impact, IWM’s commitment to preserving and sharing these stories aligns with AVI-8’s dedication to aviation heritage.
This exclusive capsule collection features four timepieces inspired by some of the most legendary aircrafts. Each design commemorates the bravery and innovation of wartime aviators. Through their design, the watches encapsulate the spirit of its namesake aircrafts, meticulously crafted to honor their legacy.
