GOT BAG, an outdoor and lifestyle travel brand has announced its collaboration with Outerknown, surfer Kelly Slater’s lifestyle brand. The two brands share a passion for ocean conservation and have joined forces for an exclusive line of bags, backpacks and accessories that recover and recycle up to 9.9 lbs of plastic waste from oceans and waterways.

“Both GOT BAG and Outerknown are well-respected industry leaders with a deeply engaged community,” says Matthias Paisdzior, head, GOT BAG North America. “Therefore, our goal is not only to bring together our expertise in innovative and sustainable fashion but, more importantly, to leverage our reach and create as much awareness as possible to highlight how we can all have a real and meaningful impact when we work together. Choices make changes, and we hope to encourage people to make the right choices to preserve our great outdoors.”

The collaboration launches globally, and products will be available in retail stores in North America starting in June and will go live later this year.
