Nike Sportswear Opens First Store in NYC

SoHo’s got something new to cheer about this week. Nike opened its first Nike Sportswear stand-alone store where it will offer premium products, an upscale retail experience and a new customization concept called, Nike Sportswear Bespoke.

Bespoke allows consumers to make an appointment with Nike designers to customize select Nike footwear.

“The NSW collection is steeped in Nike’s sports heritage and remixed with cutting-edge engineering, craftsmanship and modern design,” says Dermott Cleary, NSW vice president. “We’re putting the best of our entire collection under one roof, in New York City, so consumers from all over the world can access it.”

The Nike Sportswear line debuted on Aug. 8 with eight iconic Nike products—the Air Force 1, the Windrunner, AW 77 Hoody, the Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Eugene Track Jacket, the Cortez and NSW tee.
