Children’s music brand is set to debut in the U.K. this spring with its first-ever British kids cast.

Kidz Bop has partnered with Universal Music On Demand, ITV, Crown Talent & Media Group and Creative Artists Agency to launch in the U.K. this spring.

First, Crown & Talent Media Group was brought on to spearhead a U.K.-wide talent search and audition process for the album, which will follow the same suit as the U.S. and feature child friendly covers of today’s biggest hit songs.

Meanwhile, Universal Music On Demand has signed on as a label partner and work on the initial albums has already commenced in London.

ITV will also support the children’s music brand as a media partner and will develop an extensive multi-platform advertising campaign.

Finally, Creative Artists Agency will act as a strategic advisor as well as tour and live-booking agent for the brand.

“We’re excited to bring Kidz Bop to kids and families around the world, and Britain’s preeminent place in pop music makes the U.K. the obvious first territory for international expansion,” says Victor Zaraya, president, Kidz Bop. “Our strategic partners have been instrumental in helping us navigate the U.K. market and develop a distinct voice for the brand that will appeal to young British fans.”

The first Kidz Bop U.K. album is set to debut on March 31, followed by a second released in Q4. Each album release will be supported with a robust digital strategy, including the launch of a YouTube channel.
